Through this book, readers will discover and explore simple ways to teach digital literacy skills across various content areas, without a formal digital literacy curriculum. I am looking forward to reading this book on pre-order from Kammer & Hays due to their promising simple layout in discovering new skills for me to utilize inside my classroom.

A digital eBook that helps educators learn how to amplify student voice in the classroom, create opportunities to promote a universal perspective and empathy, use technology to assess understanding and create personal learning experiences, and help students develop critical skills for success in school. I love working with Chromebooks, so in reading this book I am excited to grab new tools in assisting my own classroom.

Carillo, E. (2022). MLA Guide to Digital Literacy (MLA Guides) (2nd Edition). Modern Language Association of America. 

A guide to understanding why digital literacy is a crucial skill for student's education. This guide also details various tools to locate reliable web sources among clickbait and viral videos, how to address reliable sources, and fact-check. I am reading this book to strengthen my teaching skills for higher grade levels.

Merrill, J. & Merrill, K. (2020). The Interactive Class: Using Technology to Make Learning More Relevant and Engaging in the Elementary Classroom. Elevate Books Edu. 

In this book, educators will be able to define interactive learning and how to use it to transform classrooms, create bonds with students and parents that will empower your students and lead to success both in and out of the school, and design interactive lessons that foster a challenging environment for students to grow. I aim to gain insight from this book to transform the way I currently teach and interact with students.

MindShift focuses on unique opinions on education, especially technology in education. The layout of the website provides interesting perspectives.
